Providence University recently warmly welcomed the exchange group from Tokyo Keizai University (TKU), Japan. This visit aims to promote international exchange between the two universities and provide Japanese students with an in-depth experience of Taiwan’s natural landscapes, urban culture, and diverse lifestyles.
The itinerary included a visit to Gaomei Wetlands, allowing students to experience one of Taichung’s most representative ecological sites. They also participated in a city exploration tour, gaining insights into the local culture and historical background of Taichung. The group also visited Taichung night markets to experience the lively atmosphere and enjoy a variety of local street foods.
On campus, a series of workshops were organized, where students engaged in group discussions, field studies, and multimedia projects. These activities allowed participants to share their perspectives on learning and daily life, further strengthening mutual understanding and cultural exchange.
This exchange activity demonstrates Providence University’s active commitment to international education and provides a valuable platform for cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration between Taiwanese and Japanese youth.
