Yohan Marvel Anggawijaya, an Indonesian student from one of our sister schools - Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU), advisee of Dr. Tien-Hsaiung Weng from the department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Providence University completed his thesis paper under the title “Energy Aware Parking Lot Availability Detection using YOLO on TX2.” With the algorithm they developed together, a more energy-saving system was designed for parking lot availability. His paper was also published in Indonesia.
