Providence University President Dr. Lucia Shih-Ling Lin and Associate Professor Kuei Tian-ai from the Department of Japanese traveled to Tokyo, where they signed cooperation agreements with O2 Partners Co., Ltd. and the Yamagata AI Division Operating Alliance respectively. Going forward, the parties will jointly promote education, research, and cultural exchange, and—building on the foundation of the "Taiwan-Japan High School AI Koshien"—will share resources to create an ecosystem for digital talent cultivation between Taiwan and Japan.

Dr. Lucia Shih-Ling Lin noted that Providence University was founded by the American Sisters of Providence and centers on "internationalization" and "altruistic care," focusing on the theme of "Internationalization × AI × Sustainable Practice" while putting into practice the philosophy that "the more local, the more international; the more rural, the more technological," in order to cultivate talent with professional skills, a global outlook, and social concern. She pointed out that Japan is an important international partner for Providence University, and that this collaboration represents not only a cross-disciplinary combination of education and technology, but also a long-term partnership centered on youth development.

O2 Partners was founded in 2004 and has long specialized in digital transformation for Japan's manufacturing industry, while the Yamagata AI Division is an important platform for youth AI education in Japan. The two sides have already worked together for two consecutive years through the "Taiwan-Japan High School AI Koshien" to facilitate exchange between Taiwanese and Japanese high school students, laying the groundwork for this cooperation. Going forward, they will expand opportunities for co-learning and hands-on practice, promote cross-border projects, overseas internships, and career connections, and strengthen students' cross-cultural communication skills and digital literacy.

Dr. Lucia Shih-Ling Lin emphasized that technology may be cold, but the spirit of education is always warm; technology is the wings, while education is the guiding light. She hopes to accompany young people as they grow together into warm, visionary professionals of the future.
